Route 66 is such a cool road. Notice how it runs along the interstate. It does this from beginning to end, with spots where the road just stops, and you have to get on the interstate and then get back off later.

The morning I left Grants, NM I got about 2 miles out of town and was stopped dead for over 2 hours, till we started moving again, only to be turned around. This is me heading east, back to Grants where I spent the whole day at a truck stop waiting for the road to open.
